Introduciton
Ytash: A Nocturnal Poem is a hand-drawn Metroidvania with a unique core feature: as Master of the Eternal Flame, a single strike on a fire source sets your sword ablaze, piercing the darkness and unleashing powerful flaming abilities.
Use your flames wisely, however, as they can be quickly devoured by the many enemies who will try anything to keep you in the dark.
Metroidvania
Explore a non-linear world, making your way across the island using your flames to reach the top of the city of Ytash and the First Blaze.
Unique fire system
Keeping your Flame alive is the only way to survive the many dangers that await you. Maintain it at all costs by striking sources of fire, and protect it to better see enemy attacks.
Fast and furious
Master your flames to hurl your enemies and reduce them to ashes with powerful spells and combos. Mix and match fire gems to unlock new spells!
2D animation (frame by frame)
Immerse yourself in a fully animated 2D world featuring an original visual style.
Game size
Ytash: A Nocturnal Poem is meant to be consumed in a relatively short space of time, but there are plenty of surprises on the menu to satisfy your thirst for exploration and discovery.
